Q: How can I subscribe or renew to Strings Magazine?

Q: When will I receive my first issue?

A:  It will likely take 6-8 weeks to receive your first copy in the mail. For destinations outside of the United States, please allow up to 10 weeks.

We know, it sounds like a long time to wait! When we mail your first issue depends on when you placed your order and where we are in our publishing schedule. We send issues at the same time to all active subscribers we have on file (we do this monthly, meaning there are two shipments per issue) – this is how we can keep your subscription price affordable and still afford the postage fees ourselves!

Please note that we cannot guarantee delivery dates – while you may see the magazine available at your local music store or for sale online, that does not mean your own copy is not already in transit to you or scheduled to be sent to you on our next bulk shipment date.


Q: How can I access my digital edition of Strings?

A: If you have an active subscription, you can download the current digital edition. Each month, we send an e-mail out to active subscribers with a unique download link. If you haven't received this e-mail, please contact us at StringsService@stringletter.com to make sure your subscription account record is up to date with your e-mail address.


Q: How can I access my subscription information?

Q: I received a damaged issue of Strings, how can I get a replacement copy?

A: Write to StringsService@stringletter.com to report a damaged issue.


Q: I missed an issue of Strings; how can I get a replacement copy?

A: Write to StringsService@stringletter.com to report a missing issue.


Q: When does my subscription expire?

A: The expiration date of your subscription can be found on the upper right-hand corner of your magazine label. You may also find this information by clicking here. Please note that if you have just placed a renewal order, it can take several days to process and so your new expiration date may not show up online immediately. Thanks for your patience.


Q: How can I order back issues of Strings?

Q: I'm unhappy with my recent purchase. Can I get a refund?

A: Yes! Here's how.

Books, magazines or any other physical product:

You may return an item if you’re not satisfied within 30 days of when you received it. The product must be undamaged and in new condition. We will issue a refund to your original form of payment in the amount of the original price paid for the item, excluding shipping and handling charges, within 3 business days of receipt at our office. Note: Customers are responsible for return shipping fees.

    You may receive a refund for a digital product if you’re not satisfied. Please email StringsService@stringletter.com to request a refund.
